For Joey, joining the army means structure, a future and career, but more importantly, a meal ticket out of her small town. All that goes out the window when she meets Rayna, a married mother of two, at the city fair. With Rayna, Joey finally feels like she has a purpose in life, and for Rayna, Joey is the shining light she’s been praying for. There are just a few obstacles standing in their way of a happily ever after including Rayna’s husband, the army, and the fact that gossip travels around their town at the speed of light.
