FYI, Susie Evans Had a Candid Convo with Gabby Windey Before She Got Back Together with Clayton

For everyone wondering how Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia feel about their fellow Bachelor finalist and friend Susie Evans getting back together with Clayton Echard despite all the drama he put them through, apparently Gabby and Susie have talked things out.

Speaking to People, Susie confirmed that she actually got in touch with Gabby before seeing Clayton again and asked for her advice.

“I reached out to her and I was like, ‘Hey, like I’m considering meeting up with Clayton, but I don’t want to make a bad decision and I want your honest opinion,'” she explained to People. “I was like, ‘Do you think that he can redeem this?’ And we had just a really honest conversation.”

Apparently Gabby was nothing but supportive of Susie following her intuition. As she put it, “Gabby fully supported me coming out to meet with Clayton again. She even said, ‘I don’t think Clayton’s a bad guy. I don’t think he had malicious intent at all.’ She’s been a great friend to lean on through this.”

Susie also said she understands where Gabby and Rachel were coming from when they confronted Clayton during the After the Finale Rose special. “It was heartbreaking to see, it was heartbreaking to hear them speak. I do hope that they got some closure,” she said. “It took me weeks and hours of conversations for us to come to an understanding. So for them to have eight minutes each with him, I hope they have the closure they need. I know they’ll never know everything. I hope they know his intentions were genuine.”
