Sooooo, Joey King and Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s names have both been trending on Twitter pretty much all morning thanks to the internet randomly and incorrectly being convinced that they hooked up. A claim that appears to be rooted in fantasy with literally no evidence to back it up.
According to HITC, the origin of this rumor is a blind item on TikTok speculating that something happened between Joey and Aaron on the Bullet Train press tour in Paris. Which has caused Twitter to just:
But a couple things that feel pretty relevant:
1) Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been married to Sam Taylor-Johnson for over ten years—but due to the pretty major age difference in their relationship, they get a lot of backlash. So, it’s not a huge surprise that the internet has taken these rumors and run with them.
2) Aaron was literally with Sam at the Paris premiere of Bullet Train and they were, as usual, very into each other:
3) Joey King is engaged to Steven Piet and they are fully obsessed with each other. And while Steven wasn’t photographed at this same premiere, he was at one a month later and his and Joey’s vibe was literally this:
So yeah, the chances of this rumor being true? Negligible. Time to move on.
