Issa Rae joined the rest of the (truly gigantic) Barbie cast in London and—much like Margot Robbie—she went ahead and changed outfits between the premiere itself and the photo call, serving up two incredible looks. First, Issa wore this hot-pink minidress for true ~This Barbie Is President~ vibes:

Ironically, Issa recently told The Guardian, “I hate the colour pink. I’ve never thought that I looked good in pink….So this press tour has been….But I’ve been taking one for the team!” (Goes without saying, she objectively looks amazing in pink.)
Issa also told Teen Vogue that she was obsessed with the wardrobe and costumes on set, saying, “I just loved the Barbie wardrobe, the costumes so much. Our Barbies go on such a journey from the start of the movie toward the end. We go through decades and we go through themes and, if anything, that stayed with me. And it is an honor to be seen as the President of Barbie Land. I don’t know how many votes she got, if it was unanimous, how new her term is, if there are term limits…but I’m holding onto that.”
