Vanderpump Rules is in the middle of filming season 11. Which, er, is all kinds of awkward considering the fact that last time we checked on everyone, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval had just broken up due to him cheating with her bff Raquel Rachel Levvis.
While Ariana and Tom have filmed their scenes almost entirely apart thus far, they were spotted filming together(ish) at The Belmont in West Hollywood on Friday. And the footage—obtained by The Sun—is awkward to say the least. Mostly due to Tom turning entirely around upon Ariana walking in, and then despondently sitting at the bar while she chats to their mutual friends, including Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and James Kennedy.
An eyewitness tells The Sun that Tom and Ariana never once acknowledged each other, and that “Tom sat just feet away from his betrayed ex pulling his hat down and appearing to avoid a close encounter. Ariana appeared to not have a care in the world.”
TMZ previously reported that “Ariana is refusing to share the screen with Sandoval” despite filming season 11 of VPR together, and is “just not interested in talking to the guy.”
Looks like Ariana ended up agreeing to be in the same room as Tom, but sounds like she continues to have zero interest in chatting, which…understandable.
Scheana, meanwhile, implied that she and Tom have been working on their friendship—saying on a recent Amazon Live (via Page Six), “I get paired with Sandoval to do this spiritual meditation healing sort of thing. It was very uncomfortable.”
She added that filming together was “beyond the most emotionally draining day I have ever had in 11 seasons of Vanderpump Rules,” and that her eyelashes “hurt from how much I cried that day.”
“I don’t like what he did to Ariana obviously,” Scheana explained. “Him and I have had a really long friendship so everyone always [says], ‘Oh Scheana the flip-flopper, Scheana needs to have loyalty,’ and losing a friendship of that long has obviously been a struggle.” She added that she is still “team Ariana.”
