Archie is a big brother and he couldn’t be more psyched! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor into the world on June 4, and they’ve already settled back into their Montecito home—where Archie’s had a chance to bond with his little sister.
“They are already back home in Montecito with their baby girl,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Archie absolutely adores his little sister and gives her lots of kisses. He’s held her with the help of his parents.”
Um, as if that couldn’t be cuter, the source adds that Archie is “such a kind, loving child and there aren’t any jealousy issues” with bb Lili.
Meghan and Harry announced Lilibet’s arrival on their Archewell website, saying she was born at 11:40 a.m. at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. The couple went on to share the special meaning behind her name:
“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.”
Meghan and Harry also released a personal message of thanks to everyone sending love and well wishes, saying “On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
Congrats again to this cute family!
