Like literally everyone else who has seen Queen Bey in concert, Madonna’s night was recently made when she took her children (Mercy, Stella, and Estere) to see Beyoncé perform on her Renaissance World Tour in New Jersey. And because she’s freakin’ Madonna, she got to go backstage and hang with the queen herself—sharing a photo of the moment to Instagram that features none other than Beyoncé’s daughter Rumi!
Beyoncé’s oldest daughter Blue Ivy has obviously been in the literal spotlight a ton lately thanks to joining her mom on tour and absolutely killing her dance routine, but Bey’s twins Rumi and Sir don’t spend much time in the public eye.
According to E! News, we last saw Rumi during Bey and Jay’s Proud Family Halloween costume moment, in November of 2022.
Back in 2021, Beyoncé gave a rare interview to Harper’s Bazaar, saying that she wants to spend her 40s enjoying her children and her family. And obviously, her kids have accompanied her through every step of this tour.
“My wish is for my 40s to be fun and full of freedom,” she explained. “I want to feel the same freedom I feel on stage every day of my life. I want to explore aspects of myself I haven’t had time to discover and to enjoy my husband and my children. I want to travel without working. I want this next decade to be about celebration, joy, and giving and receiving love. I want to give all the love I have to the people who love me back.”
