Surely, you’ve seen countless pics of Emily Ratajkowski strolling the streets of NYC (usually alongside her precious baby and pup) looking on-trend and effortless. While I, admittedly, can only sometimes muster the strength to put together a cute outfit for my daily hot girl walk, EmRata and I do share some sartorial similarities (say that five times fast): a good pair of fashionable sneakers. So when the author/podcast host/model/actress/mother multi-hyphenate stepped out in a pair of green and pink PUMA Palermos, I just had to look them up and hit “add to cart”. Oh, and did I mention they’re only $100?

While out for her routine hot girl walk (the girls that get it, get it) with her fluffy friend, the HighLow podcast host wore a pink Danielle Guizio minidress and matched it with the Puma low-tops in a mint and orchid colorway. Say what you want about the combo of minidresses and sneakers, but there is a way to do it right and this is proof.

Not only do the colors flow together so well, but the low-top and suede style of the Palermos lean into the vintage aesthetic in a way that channels all the nostalgia.

PUMA recently revived its Palermo OG sneaker from its archives after its debut in the ‘80s. While it’s gained a fanbase in the soccer world, this isn’t the first time a sneaker with a similar silhouette made its way into the fashion world (hello, Sambas!). In addition to this mint and pink shoe, there are also two additional colorways: navy with white and sky blue with orange.

Priced at $100, many sizes are already sold out on PUMA’s website, but there are still many available at BSTN (at least, for now!). With all the talk of strawberry girl makeup, I’m putting it out into the universe that watermelon fashion is where it’s at—just ask Emily Ratajkowski (and her previous, ahem, smoocher, Harry Styles).
