Freeform’s 2023 “31 Nights of Halloween” Schedule Is Here, and It’s Perfect for Spooky Season


While we can always count on amazing costumes, candies, and tons of screams during spooky season, there’s one other thing we know we can look forward to: Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween. If you needed the perfect excuse to get to sit on the couch the entire month of October and watch some pretty scary movies, then this is exactly for you. The special marathon is back for the 2023 season, and it’s unlike any other year that Freeform has done it. In fact, it might be the channel’s scariest lineup yet!

Classics like Hocus Pocus are back and who can forget our very own Pumpkin King, Tim Burton, as his classic films like The Nightmare Before Christmas (which is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary!) and Corpse Bride. But there are some new faves joining the lineup this year too. Ready or Not and The Craft are now a part of Freeform’s marathon, bringing the scares to a whole new level—and they’ll definitely get us screaming the night away. And if that wasn’t enough to convince you, then hopefully the idea of seeing iconic Halloween films like Halloweentown, Twitches, and The Haunted Mansion will. And who can forget all of the Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror episodes you’ll be able to watch?!

So grab all the popcorn you can carry and get ready to plan everything around this lineup because you won’t want to miss a single second!
