The time has once again come to do a deep dive on one of Clayton Echard’s Bachelor contestants, and today we’re here to talk about Genevieve Parisi. Quick reminder: Genevieve got a chance to have some one-on-one time with Clayton under a blanket during night one, where she told him that she’s from Massachusetts and her parents have been married for over 30 years. Clayton seemed impressed, musing to no one in particular, “Genevieve is so genuine and she wants a serious relationship, and she’s here for it, and that makes me so happy.” Profound!
You might recall that Genevieve was also on the first group date of Clayton’s season with Hilary Duff (actress/singer/inventor of LOL), and that that Cassidy Timbrooks straight-up dropped Genevieve’s cake on the ground.
But Genevieve and Clayton made up for it with this atrocity cute decorating sesh:
Anyway, due to Cake Gate™, Genevieve ended up questioning why she was even on The Bachelor and confronted Cassidy during the nighttime portion of the group date. Honestly, it’s all been very dramatic, and since Genevieve is clearly hovering in the center of the drama this season, it’s time to get to know her better.

Twenty-six-year-old Genevieve is a bartender in Los Angeles, which I think we can all agree is a cool-AF job. According to ABC, “She is ambitious, confident, and persistent and says that when she wants something, there isn’t much that can stop her from going for it.”
She Wants a Funny Guy
Not sure if that’s Clayton, but okay! Anyway, ABC’s bio writer (GIVE THEM A RAISE!) says Genevieve is looking for a man to get “lost” with. “Her dream man is someone that will let her maintain her independence and always keep her laughing. She wants someone who won’t be afraid to admit that they are wrong or change their personality when they are ‘bro-ing out’ with the guys.”

She Wants a Man Who Is Close to His Mom
Direct quote: “They also must have a good relationship with their mother and be able to have deep, meaningful conversations.”
Huh. Honestly, Genevieve would have thrived during Peter Weber’s season if this is the case, because the vibe over there is just all:

Genevieve also happens to be super tight with her family—especially her sister—so it makes sense that she’s looking for a similar quality in a parter.

Hailey and Justin Bieber Are Her Idea of #RelationshipGoals
Makes sense given their romance followed a pretty Bachelor-esque timeline:
- Date for a few months
- Get married
- Stay married
Spoiler: She Has a Two-on-One With Shanae
Welp. This should be interesting considering Shanae is the clear villain of this season. But she and Genevieve will be paired together during a date in Toronto.
Here’s a video of them on the date courtesy of Reality Steve—in the same spot where Pam and Jim got married on The Office!

FYI, Shanae got sent home on this date, and Genevieve stayed. So…how long did she make it on the show?
Spoiler: She Goes Home on a Slightly Mysterious Note
We know she leaves in Vienna right before hometowns, but at this point it’s unclear whether Genevieve self-eliminated or got asked to leave by Clayton. Here’s what Steve said:
“Genevieve Parisi was sent home at some point during this episode without going on a date. I don’t know who approached who first, but it was established that Genevieve and Clayton just weren’t a match and didn’t see it long term, so he either sent her home or she left. Not sure how it’ll be shown.”
We’ll keep you updated with more Genevieve news as it drops! Till then, we can totally see her thriving on Bachelor in Paradise, can’t you?
