Gabrielle Union has been spending a lot of time in sunny locales lately, and she hasn’t been shy about posting her warm adventures on Instagram. In one post, the actress was enjoying a beautiful beach day with husband Dwayne Wade and daughter Kaavia. The pics were giving major summertime vibes.
The Bring It On star, 50, chose a stunning yellow thong bikini for her day in the sun, and one pic, shot from behind, showcased just how strong her booty is these days. Of course, it was also hard to miss her super toned abs, arms, and legs in the cute suit. In the other pics, the crew spent time in the ocean, and even shared some yummy snacks, including a bowl of ocean-side pasta.
“I like my days like I like the beach – peaceful,” Gabrielle captioned the pic. Her friends, family, and fans were all about it. “It’s the natural body for me😍,” one fan wrote, while another commented what everyone was thinking: “Ouhh chiiiile 🥵🥵🥵.”
If you’re curious to know how Gabrielle works on that toned peach, Women’s Health has got some answers for you. For one, she has told her Instagram followers that when she is in Los Angeles, she works with personal trainers Gregg Miele and Quinn Fischman. She posted about a workout they did together last June, which included tons of crunches, weighted lunges, treadmill work and more.
That being said, Gabrielle likes to mix things up when it comes to getting active, and she previously told Women’s Health that she does that so that “I don’t get anxiety staring at the treadmill.”
What does she do instead? “Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes,” she shared. Oh, and Gabrielle is also a FitOn ambassador, so she’s released a ton of workouts with the app.
While this star puts in a lot of work at the gym, she doesn’t always prefer doing solo workouts. In fact, Gabrielle loves to get in a sweat with her friends, and did so in 2019 alongside fellow fitness queens Mary J. Blige and Tracee Ellis Ross.
Her hubs, Dwayne Wade, is also one of her go-to workout partners (cute!). She shared on Instagram in May of 2022, which she captioned, “I used to clown couples that worked out together but now I’m that sucka that looks forward to our 6am sweat sessions. When I wanna give up, I just look to my side and get that push and smile from @dwyanewade and I thug it out.”
For a full body workout, Gabrielle might opt for a Pilates sesh. “The great thing about Pilates is that I can take out my annoyance from waking up early on the machines instead of human beings. It’s for the greater good,” she told Women’s Health. “My body responds to it, and I’m also more clear.”
When it comes to food, Gabrielle told WH that during her IVF journey with daughter Kaavia, she consulted Alisa Vitti, a functional nutritionist and women’s hormone expert. “She said, ‘Cut out gluten, dairy, alcohol, and caffeine and see if the swelling alleviates and it helps with your skin and hair,’” Gabrielle explained.

Despite that strict regimen, this star still treats herself, and told WH she is big on hydration. Gabrielle previously boasted that she drinks a gallon of water a day when she’s on set. Phew! Gotta stay hydrated.
