Kate Middleton is Prince William’s biggest fan! The Princess of Wales was seen watching her husband from the sidelines as he took part in a charity polo match earlier today in Windsor.
For the sporty event, Kate looked lovely in a cornflower blue Beulah London maxi dress with blouson sleeves and all-over patterns while sipping from a flute of champagne. She paired the summery frock with a matching Mulberry top handle purse and nude slingback pumps by Camilla Elphick. Finally, she accessorized the look with Finlay cat-eye sunglasses, Lenique Louis chunky hoops, and a Sèzane bracelet.
The annual Royal Charity Polo Cup raised over $1.2 million for nearly a dozen organizations and causes that are close to the Wales couple’s heart, including Prince William’s homelessness charities and the East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH), which Kate has been a patron of for more than a decade.
Prince William also took part in the tournament last year. Kate was in attendance, as was their adorable family dog, Orla. An avid polo enthusiast, the Prince of Wales has previously competed in several charity polo matches alongside or against his brother, Prince Harry. One of the last times they played together was in 2019, when both William and Harry brought their wives and children to the charity match.
Today’s tournament comes one day after William and Kate attended King Charles’s Scottish coronation at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh. The new monarch was given the Honours of Scotland, which are the oldest crown jewels in Britain. These include the Crown of Scotland, the Sceptre, and a new Elizabeth Sword.
