Khloé Kardashian’s BFF Might Have Just (Accidentally?) Revealed the Name of Her Son on Instagram

Not to raise a full alarm, but we *might* have learned the name of Khloé Kardashian’s son this weekend, thanks to, of all things, an Instagram comment slip.

Yesterday, Khloé hopped on IG to shared two very important things (neither of which was her son’s name, for the record):

  1. A very rare look at her son, in two new pics of her holding the (incredibly adorable) 9-month-old.
  2. Some playful Kim K shade, in the form of the t-shirt she’s wearing in said pics (a meme of Kim’s face along with her instantly-infamous advice (courtesy of Kim herself, via the 2022 Variety article about the famous family) to “Get Your F*cking Ass Up and Work.”

“In my best Kim K voice!” captioned the post, which included two pics of her wearing said shirt/lightly trolling Kim while holding her son.

Khloé welcomed her son via surrogate in August 2022 and, since then, has shared only rare glimpses on him on social media. She has also, notably, not yet publicly announced his name. That’s why fans’ jaws dropped so completely and collectively over a comment Khloé’s longtime BFF, Malika Haqq, left on the post, in which she *seems* to have *mayyyyybe* revealed his name.

If Malika’s comment really is an (accidental, we assume?) actual reveal of the name, then Khloé’s sons name is: Tate.

It’s not totally clear if this is actually Khloé’s son’s name, of course, since Malika’s entire comment is simply, “Go Tate!” and not, you know, something super-specific and definitive like, “Aww, I love that named him Tate, Khloé!”

This does track, however, with hints Khloé has given in the past—like when she confirmed last month during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show that the name starts with a T.

FWIW, if Malika did spill the name early, it couldn’t have been by much, since Khloé made it clear during the same Jennifer Hudson Show interview that she planned to reveal her son’s name this month.

“He’s been named, but I’ve been waiting for the premiere of our show,” she explained. Since The Kardashians season three premieres on Hulu on May 25th, the official name reveal is coming soon anyway.
