Kim Kardashian is following in older sister Kourtney Kardashian’s footsteps and trading her long black hair for a sleek bob.
The Skims founder debuted her new chic look on Instagram yesterday, in a series of sultry clips posted on her Story.
In the first two videos, she models her new Skims loungewear while sporting the much shorter ’do. “The sports bra is super cute,” she says at one point, “just like my new haircut.”
“I wanna show you guys my new hair,” she says in another clip, which she took while she lay in bed.
Kardashian’s hair transformation comes as various celebrities have changed up their locks for the summer. Chrissy Teigen chopped her brunette hair into a long bob, and Megan Fox and Emily Ratajkowski dyed their hair fiery red.
And Kardashian is no stranger to hairstyle changes. Last year she famously went bleach blonde to attend the Met Gala in Marilyn Monroe’s dress (with then-boyfriend Pete Davidson), and in the months following did a slow transition back into black hair—going from blonde with black roots to brunette, to her original shiny black.
Kardashian’s latest hair change comes after she spent several days touring Japan with her kids. Just this Tuesday, she was spotted at a pro soccer match in Osaka, where she watched Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr club play France’s Paris Saint-Germain. For the occasion, she dressed in an all-beige look further elevated by a rare croc-embossed Himalaya Hermès Birkin bag.
