Directed by Chris Robinson, “Shooting Stars” marks five-star high school small forward Marquis “Mookie” Cook’s film debut as a young James. Joining him as James’s three best friends are Caleb McLaughlin as Lil Dru, Avery S. Wills, Jr. as Willie McGee, and Khalil Everage as Sian Cotton. Wood Harris also appears in the movie as Coach Dru Joyce.
