Miranda Lambert is getting backlash over calling out fans for taking selfies during her concert. Miranda was performing at her Las Vegas residency and stopped mid-performance of “Tin Man” to address concertgoers taking photos.
“I’m gonna stop right here for a sec, I’m sorry,” she said. “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song, it’s pissing me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it. At all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight, I’m singing some country damn music.”
Apparently some fans walked out of the show visibly upset, and Miranda got a lot of negative feedback.
Comments on the below TiKTok include “Imagine it was their favorite song and they were taking a video and we’re excited…,” “I love Miranda but what?!” and “Imagine taking a picture of yourself seeing your favorite singer in concert and that happens.”
People were also pretty vocal on Twitter.

One of the concertgoers in the photo had this to say to NBC News: “It felt like I was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit down back in my place. I feel like she was determined to make us look like we were young, immature and vain. But we were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.”
Miranda hasn’t addressed the situation since it blew up online, but stay tuned.
