Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at the Lakers game last night, and were completely adorable when they briefly showed up on the Jumbotron. Like, their grins! Harry kinda-maybe going in for a kiss! It’s all just extremely cute!
According to an eye-witness who chatted with Entertainment Tonight, “They giggled when they realized they were on the big screen. They seemed really happy and were having a lot of fun.”
Judging from the pics, that is completely accurate!
Harry and Meghan have a kinda big couple of weeks ahead. On top of it being their son Archie’s birthday on May 6, Harry’s flying back to England for his dad’s casual coronation. Meanwhile, Meghan will stay in California with their kids—a decision sources say she hopes will be seen as selfless by her father-in-law.
“Meghan doesn’t want any more rifts,” a source told Page Six. “She wants her children to know their grandfather, Charles, particularly when they are not going to know their other grandfather. She does hope they will meet and hopes her decision will be seen as an unselfish one, as it was best to keep the attention on His Majesty.”
The source added that Meghan’s decision to skip the coronation had to do with avoiding drama and speculation, saying, “She just really doesn’t want a song and dance and everything being lived out in the public eye.”
Meanwhile, Harry is expected to be flying home to California immediately after the 11 a.m. coronation ceremony ends, and thanks to the time difference he actually might make it back that same day. As the source put it, “Harry’s going to make every effort to get back in time for Archie’s birthday.”
