In case you missed the royal baby news over the weekend due to taking a break from the internets, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby daughter has arrived!
The couple welcomed Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor on June 4, and apparently her aunt and uncle, Kate Middleton and Prince William, have already sent a present. As a source who spoke to Us Weekly put it, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were “informed about the birth and have sent Lilibet a gift.”
TBD on what said gift is, but cute! Oh, and Kate and Wills also posted a message of congratulations on Instagram, writing “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.”
Meghan and Harry announced baby Lili’s arrival a few days after she was born, saying in part on the Archewell website, “It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world. Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA.”
The couple also added this sweet personal note:
“On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
Congrats again to Meghan, Harry, and Archie on Lili’s arrival!
