Rihanna Performs Her Greatest Hits at the Super Bowl, Including “Diamonds” and “Umbrella”

From the moment news broke that Rihanna was headlining the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, the country has been buzzing with excitement. At the Feb. 12 show, the star gave fans what they’ve been longing for and then some, taking to the field to perform renditions of her hit songs “B*tch Better Have My Money,” “Where Have You Been,” “Only Girl (In the World),” “We Found Love,” and “Diamonds,” among others.

Rihanna — who used the performance to confirm her second pregnancy — made an unforgettable entrance as she was lowered down to the stage on a floating platform. Wearing a red jumpsuit that was open in the front, the superstar was pure glam as she and her dancers took over the field. She even put on a light show to accompany her rendition of her 2010 hit “All of the Lights” before being raised into the air on another platform for “Diamonds.”

It’s been another banner year for the billionaire, who earned her first Oscar nomination in January thanks to her song “Lift Me Up,” which was featured on the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

Rihanna’s halftime-show appearance was first revealed in September 2022, when the star shared a photo of herself holding up an NFL football — and shortly after, the NFL confirmed the news. The following month, a TMZ cameraperson managed to ask Rihanna how she was feeling about the gig, and she said she was “nervous” and, in the outlet’s words, “excited.”

The Super Bowl show comes less than a year after Rihanna gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, whom she shares with A$AP Rocky.
