When the third Sunday of June rolls around and all the dads out there are honored with neckties, coffee mugs, and BBQ equipment galore—the Drummond family makes sure to pull out all the (sweet) stops for Ladd. He deserves it! After all, it takes a lot to keep up with not only an entire ranch but five kiddos and a wife as busy as the Pioneer Woman.
Yep, Marlboro Man definitely deserves all the desserts. 😂 Luckily, that’s exactly what he got this Father’s Day! The Drummonds took to the kitchen (and social media) to honor Ladd on his special day with tasty treats and the most thoughtful Father’s Day messages.
To start the celebratory weekend, Ree posted her go-to chocolate pie recipe on Facebook and captioned it: “Making this for Ladd tomorrow! It’s his fave.” Um, YUM! We would ask him to save us a slice or two, but we doubt that delectable dish even made it past the opening of presents!
Along with the sweet stuff, the Drummonds also celebrated Ladd with some sweet words. Paige shared the cutest photos on her Instagram Story with a heartfelt message dedicated to her dad that reads, “A provider, leader, hard worker, giver, role model, and a faithful servant. So thankful for him and the father he is! Love you lots, Laddy. 🤍” AW! How special is that? And just look at those precious pictures of the two of them over the years.
