The post wasn’t the first time Kanye has spoken out about Kim-related issues, but it was the first that she’s publicly responded to. After Kanye’s post about North’s TikTok, Kim took to her Instagram Story to speak out about “Kanye’s constant attacks” on her and her desire to have a “healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship” because it’s what’s best for their children.
That focus on what’s best for her kids is actually why Kim felt the need to post a public reply to Kanye’s IG, according to an Entertainment Tonight report.
“Kim has been very hurt and upset by Kanye’s antics involving her recently. She has been trying to take the high road, be the bigger person, ignore it as best as she could, and live her life,” a source close to Kim told the out. “With Kanye’s latest Instagram post, she felt like her only choice was to finally respond because he involved North in a very public way. Kanye isn’t only continuing to hurt Kim, but he is hurting their children, too. Kanye’s mood is very all over the place and back and forth when it comes to Kim and her family. He is jealous that Kim has moved on, and does not like that she has set boundaries with him.”
In her post, Kim wrote that “Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all” and called on her ex to handle issues related to their kids privately and to “finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
