Starbucks Holiday Drinks Are Back This Week — With 4 New Cup Designs

0

Peppermint Mocha season is finally upon us. On Nov. 3, Starbucks will start offering its beloved holiday beverages once again, along with a new selection of paper holiday cups. There are four festive designs this year, all of which incorporate the coffee chain’s signature siren logo and feature a gift tag you can personalize. One is inspired by gift-wrapping ribbon, another is covered in retro starburst and diamond shapes, the third is decorated with a tiny holiday motif pattern, and the last has white evergreen trees on a red background.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Starbucks’s annual holiday cup tradition, which kicked off in 1997 with four jewel-toned drinking vessels covered in hand-drawn holly, coffee beans, and swirls. There have been countless iterations through the years, from plain red cups in 2015 to customizable ones in 2017.

Also arriving on Nov. 3 is a collection of bling-tastic merchandise, boasting more than 25 new pieces of drinkware. For those who gravitate toward all things shiny, there are gold and fuchsia cold cups with a chrome finish (plus matching mini ornaments!), a shimmery silver cup covered in bubbles, and a mint-green tumbler that could double as a mirror. Other standouts include three different color options for the previously released jeweled cold cups, a rainbow ombre tumbler, and a wavy holographic pattern that mimics agate.
