Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker had a wedding fit for their whirlwind romance. The couple reportedly got married at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in the early hours of April 4 following their appearance at the Grammy Awards, People has confirmed. Kardashian and Barker were wearing the same outfits they wore to the award show. The ceremony lasted 30 minutes, and an Elvis Presley impersonator was in attendance.
“I didn’t know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory. I called back 5 minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were,” One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson told People. “They came, got married, tossed the bouquet in the driveway, and danced to Elvis.”
The couple first met in 2006 when Barker dated Paris Hilton, and Kim Kardashian worked as her closet organizer and stylist. The Blink-182 drummer and the Poosh founder maintained a close friendship for years, hanging out and grabbing dinner on numerous occasions, before sparking dating rumors in January 2021. They later confirmed their romance on Instagram after Valentine’s Day. In October 2021, Barker proposed to Kardashian with an oversize oval engagement ring at the Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, CA.
Kardashian shares three children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, with her ex Scott Disick, while Barker has three children, Atiana, Landon, and Alabama, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. “Scott and Kourtney’s co-parenting routine is very well balanced and things have been cordial between them,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “He hasn’t entirely come to terms with Kourtney and Travis’ relationship, but he has definitely warmed up to accepting the fact that Kourtney is marrying Travis. There are moments of jealousy and animosity, but at the end of the day, he wants her to be happy.”
