No, we’re not in midst of a 2015 fever dream: Taylor Swift really did step out with a full-on squad this week.
On Thursday night, Taylor gave major “Bejeweled” energy when she had what can only be described as a legit girls’ night out in New York City with a All-Star crew that included Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and the Haim sisters. Oh, but before being all “btw, I’m going out tonight” with that deep roster of famous friends, she and Blake had dinner with Ryan Reynolds, because you needed one more reason to be filled with envy about her Thursday night, right?
“Taylor Swift and Blake Lively hung out at Zero Bond in NYC last night,” an eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight (which also has pics of the group strolling casually around NYC like they’re not a literal damn gaggle of superstars, if you want to go put your eyes on those for a sec). “They went to dinner with Ryan Reynolds before and headed to Zero Bond after for a girls’ night. They arrived at around 11 p.m. and stayed for about an hour. They were wandering around the space and having fun. Gigi Hadid also popped by to join them since she lives nearby.”
Sounds casual (you know, if you replace all the names with non-famous ones). And, unsurprisingly, Taylor looked “dressing for revenge” level amazing during the outing, wearing a black skirt (with silver chain detail)/black cami (with no details/embellishments of any color) combo accessorized in with black loafers, simple gold hoop earrings, a minimalist necklace, and sunglasses.
“Taylor was having so much fun and it seemed like she was just relaxing and enjoying herself with her girlfriends,” the ET eyewitness source added. “She didn’t seem upset about her breakup with Joe at all. Blake and Gigi have been a great support system for Taylor and they’re all so close.”
This all tracks with recent intel that Taylor is “enjoying her freedom” and getting lots of love and support from family and friends in the wake of her split from longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
Sooo….seems safe to say that Taylor Swift is officially moving out of her Homebody Era, right?
