During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the stars decided to move into Platt’s childhood home with his parents. In a September 2021 interview with SiriusXM, Platt confirmed this was around the time he and Galvin became a couple. When asked what their relationship was like “going from zero to 100,” Platt said their years of friendship prepared them to take the leap of moving in together.
“The nice thing about our situation is that Noah and I were friends for many years before and had quite a long foundation and journey before we got to the capital ‘D’ dating relationship, so we weren’t really starting from scratch,” he said. “But certainly yes, zero to 60 in the sense that he was living with my parents and I and in my childhood bedroom with me and meeting my giant family of 17 people, like, throwing him to the wolves from the get-go.”
