Wondering How Much $$ Tom Holland Gets for Playing Spider-Man? You Are Simply Not Ready

Remember back in 2015 when your mother—high off the intoxicating fumes of PBS’ Masterpiece Theater—forced you to sit down and watch Wolf Hall? Just me? Cool, anyway, we were introduced to a young Tom Holland thanks to that miniseries, and two seconds later he was web-slinging his way into our hearts as Spider-Man.

Slipping into Spidey’s iconic lycra onesie made Tom the youngest actor to play a lead character in the MCU , and he went ahead and signed a pretttttty lucrative six-movie Marvel deal. Tom’s Spider-Man salary makes up the majority of his net worth, but his new-ish Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room potentially brought in cash too. And let’s not forget about his fancy brand endorsements, mmkay!

So, what is Tom Holland’s total net worth? We’re diving into his financial ~web~ (no regrets), but not before watching this for the millionth time:

Breaking Down Tom’s Marvel Money

When Tom signed onto play Spider-Man, he was a relative newcomer in the industry— meaning he didn’t have a ton of salary leverage. But Tom’s stint as Spider-Man ended up being a huge successes and included three stand-alone films (Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home), plus Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. In 2021, Tom’s contract was up for negotiation (read: bargaining and a major raise), and there were all kinds of rumors that he signed another major six movie deal.

Though this interview from early June 2023 makes things sound kinda up in the air:

And in a pre-strike interview with The Hollywood Reporter (published June 14, 2023), Tom said of further MCU movies, “It’s a collaborative process. The first few meetings were about, ‘Why would we do this again?’ And I think we found the reason why. I’m really, really happy with where we’re at in terms of the creative. But I’m also a little apprehensive about it. There’s a bit of a stigma about the fourth one in all franchises. I feel like we hit a home run with our first franchise and there’s a part of me that wants to walk away with my head held high and pass the baton to the next lucky kid that gets to bring this character to life.”

Soooo…TBD on where Spidey’s future stands, but here’s what we know about how much money Tom’s made from the MCU thus far:

Tom’s TV and Movie Salary Went Way Up

Prepare to be jealous of what we can all agree is a massive raise. Back in 2021, Variety reported that thanks to the success of Spider-Man, Tom “could be making $2 million to $5 million for independent movies” and “$5 million to $10 million for a leading role” in commercial studio films. They also mentioned streamers have “more money to burn” and Tom could be looking at paychecks of $20 million…so seems safe to assume he made around this much for The Crowded Room at Apple.

He’s Dabbling in Brand Endorsements

Specifically with Prada. Who knows what they paid him, but gonna assume it was a lot.

So What Is Tom Holland’s Net Worth, in Total?

Tom Holland has a reported net worth of $25 million, thanks to, ahem: playing Spider-Man, his non-MCU work in TV and film, and a $4 million flat in London. Which…
