Things are reportedly hectic down on the Bachelor in Paradise beach. In a new interview with Us Weekly’s Here for the Right Reasons podcast, host Jesse Palmer (who is actually in Mexico filming BiP season 8rn) said things are nuts on the beach and teased what sound like they could be changes to the series’ format or rules this season.
“It’s insane down here. It’s absolutely crazy. There’s all these people. It is just so much chaos, so much drama and yes, never before seen things [are] taking place in Paradise,” he said. “I’ve been watching this show for years, huge fan of it. And we’ve been switching things up. We’ve been changing things up. It’s hard to keep track of it all, to be honest.”
According to Us Weekly, one of those alleged changes could involve “dividing the groups of men and women after they are coupled up and before new contestants arrive on the beach.”
After that semi-juicy tease, however, Jesse went into ABC PR-speak mode and gushed about having “so much fun” in the “magic” place that is Paradise (and also about needing lots of sunscreen and water to make said “magic” happen—TBH it seems like Jesse could benefit from having a few nap breaks built into his schedule, which currently involves *simultaneously* filming/hosting Bachelor in Paradise and working the promotional circuit for Gabby and Rachel’s joint season of The Bachelorette, which premieres Monday).

“It’s been amazing. It’s like herding cats when you have this many people in this much drama,” Jesse saids, before devolving into what reads like an exhaustion-fueled string of BiP buzzwords. “You need so much SPF and water and you just [have to] be ready. I’m having so much fun. I always wondered as a fan of the show, ‘How paradise-y was Paradise?’ And I can tell you, it is so much fun. It really is paradise. This place is magic.”
This interview is magic, but seriously #LetJessePalmerNap.
