Jennifer Lopez showed up on the night of the 2023 Met Gala in not one, but two incredible Ralph Lauren looks.
After ascending the carpeted steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a sexy silk and velvet halter-neck gown (complete with a dramatic train and a fish net fascinator), the multi-hyphenate swapped outfits for the after-party.
She shared photos of the outfit change on Instagram. The ensemble seemed fairly simple, yet still sophisticated and refined, at first glance, she wore a feminine interpretation of a tuxedo via a black velvet blazer, a crisp white collared button-up, and a long black column skirt.
Other photos, however, revealed a totally different dimension of the look. After she removed the blazer jacket, it turned out Lopez’s button-up top was actually a sheer white blouse with frilly tiered cape sleeves that plunged into a deep side-bob cutout at the edge of her torso. She finished the look off with shiny black opera gloves, diamond drop earrings, and a black velvet Roger Vivier purse.
