Elle Fanning entirely embodied the dreamy fairy-core aesthetic with her latest look.
The star of The Great shared a rare mirror selfie on her Instagram Story, in which she wore a lovely white-and-yellow sundress with a subtle floral print and a lace-embellished neckline and chest cutout. The piece, from Coach’s collaboration with Observed by Us, was further adorned with colorful flower appliqués (and a piece of cake patch) all over. Elle wore the joyful dress with black flats and a beige leather crossbody Tabby bag from the same Coach drop, which was also adorned with little flowers. She wore her hair up in a ballerina bun and opted for rosy makeup.
Elle mostly uses her Instagram to mark big occasions: the Met Gala, magazine covers, campaign shoots. But recently, she’s been showing off a more raw side of herself on social media.
Also yesterday, she shared a string of selfies on Instagram highlighting a recent beauty look and outfit of hers. The makeup was natural and rosy, with a raspberry lip. Her natural freckles popped, as did her green eyes, contrasted by the pink in her eyelids and cheeks.
Elle slicked her blonde hair back into a neat ballerina bun and wore no jewelry. Her outfit was also chic and minimalistic: a crisp black button-down, which she wore with some buttons open at the top.
“Did my make-up and felt cute in shadow and sun @lorealparis ☀️😎💋,” the actor wrote in the caption.
Last week, Elle shared a bathroom mirror selfie, in which she wore a black strapless dress, gold and silver jewelry, a red lip, and a clutch bag that looked like a book. “#weddingguest,” she simply wrote in the caption.
And late last month, she posted a photo in which she looked absolutely ethereal while wearing a white spaghetti-strap top embellished with feathers. In the snap, she again seemed to wear rosy, natural makeup and her go-to pretty ballerina bun.
