Welp, Late Late Show host and Cats star James Corden is getting called out for being “difficult and obnoxious” by a someone who used to work with him.
Producer/director Craig Duncan spoke about working with James on the British panel show A League of Their Own, musing, “The most difficult and obnoxious presenter I’ve ever worked with is James Corden.”
Craig went on to explain that he’d been asked to film a cooking segment for the show, and was asked if he worked well with “difficult presenters.” Craig was then asked to “witness James at work and let us know if you think this is for you” before signing on for the project.

Craig recalled James reading a joke from a card on set, “And he just looked at it like, ‘That’s not funny, that’s not funny. It’s shit, we have to rewrite that. We have to rewrite this.’ … I don’t know maybe he was having a bad day and the writing’s just not up to scratch, but I definitely thought, ‘Man somebody wrote that, not nice to do that.'”
Craig ended up signing on for the show despite finding James “a bit grumpy, ” and filming was going fine until the last five minutes when they had a time crunch. At this point James pipped in and allegedly said, “What the fuck is going on here? It’s obvious what you do—you put a camera there, you put a camera there… It’s so obvious how you shoot it, you’re stupid.”
Not great if true! Anyway, Craig ended his musings by claiming that James was 45 minutes late and then he said, “I hope I never, ever work with you again.”
