A ‘Page Six’ Source Says Taylor Swift Is “100% Single” Amid Speculation She’s Seeing Someone “Older”

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn recently broke up after six years of dating (writing that still feels weird), and in case you’re wondering whether Taylor is dating someone new…the answer appears to be nope, not so much.

In response to a tipster telling DeuxMoi that Taylor was seeing someone “older,” a Page Six source claims that Taylor is “100% single.” The source also notes that fan speculation about her and Joe secretly getting married is “fully not true.” But reminder: neither Taylor nor Joe have spoken out about this rumor themselves, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Speaking of sources, an insider got super chatty with People about exactly why Joe and Taylor parted ways, saying that they had “differences in their personalities” and ultimately “weren’t the right fit for one another.”

“They had plenty in common and fell in love in a safe bubble while she was retreating from the world during Reputation,” People’s source said. “Then the pandemic hit, and they were locked down together and able to continue growing their relationship in this insulated way. But he didn’t really ‘know’ her yet outside of that bubble.”

The source added that Joe’s discomfort with the spotlight definitely factored in, saying “Joe has struggled with Taylor’s level of fame and the attention from the public. The differences in their personalities have also become harder to ignore after years together. They’ve grown apart.”

Despite the fact that these two were “talking about marriage as recently as a few months ago,” Taylor ultimately “didn’t see them working out in the long run.” But the good news is Taylor and Joe’s breakup was drama free: “They are friendly. She doesn’t have anything bad to say about Joe. They just grew apart. Taylor is staying very focused on her tour right now. There is a lot of respect still between them.”
