Like so many siblings before them, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian are having one of those classic sister fights about Andrea Bocelli.
Bocelli, a well-regarded Italian tenor who celebs love to hire for private events, was brought up during Kim and Kourtney’s extremely rich fight over whether Kim had stolen Kourtney’s ~wedding vibes~ by doing a ’90s archive collection with Dolce & Gabbana. And while defending herself during an on-camera interview, Kim mused:
“I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli. You stole my fucking wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her dolce vita lifestyle.”
Obviously, the world has been waiting with bated breath for Andrea to take a break from minding his own business in Italy, and you’ll be happy to know he went ahead and released a statement on Instagram Stories.
“Dear @kimkardashian and @kourtneykardash,” Bocelli wrote. “I’m so flattered that you both love my voice and I’ll always be happy to sing for you. But know that there’s a younger and far more helpful artist @matteobocelli who your mother @krisjenner also knows very well… See you soon in Tuscany!”
I just, like, actually may never recover from this.
