Wait, you didn’t think fashion icon Catie Li was only good at styling outfits, did you? Because one look at the model-turned-influencer’s chic L.A. home—a fixer-upper she bought with her husband Carlos Miravite three years ago—and you’ll be ready to hire her as your wardrobe consultant and interior designer.
Catie and Carlos have been slowly but surely renovating the house, which they call their “COVID baby,” since the moment they moved in, making sure they’re absolutely obsessed with every change made. “The previous owners were in their 80s and it showed: Pink walls! Popcorn ceilings! Updating it was a breath of fresh air,” Catie says process. “My husband and I work a lot, so we vowed to make it relaxing by keeping everything modern and clean.” They knew they wanted to renovate the bedroom (which you can peep below), sooner than later, since it’s such a sacred space for the busy pair.
“The bedroom is the heart of the home,” she explains, noting that she tried to make it feel like a hotel by keeping decorations to a minimum and making organization a priority. “When we need a moment to relax or take a nap we spend time in the bedroom,” she says. “It just makes us feel comfortable.”

We tend to go to bed around 10 or 11 p.m., but my husband is a lowkey vampire—he loves the dark, don’t ask me why—so our lights are almost always dimmed or off.
Sorry to pry, but what’s in the framed photos on your nightstands?
On the left side, there’s a picture of Carlos and me in college—the first one we ever took together. The photo on the right is a Polaroid of when we got our puppy, Lola.
Anything you keep inside your nightstand that might make fans smile?
I have all the love letters that Carlos has ever written me! There’s also some ChapStick and lavender spray for the bedding.
We simply must know: Is that tree real?
It is very fake! We can’t take care of real plants right now due to our busy schedules.
Honestly, your bed looks beyond amazing.
I found an inspo pic on Pinterest of a headboard and had a furniture maker duplicate it. I wanted something mid-century that matched the vibe of the house but that would also be timeless. This one here has a similar feel.
Are there any sleep essentials that make your bed feel extra luxe?
A set of silk pillowcases! They protect my hair and skin and I just love the way they feel.
It seems fair to say you love a neutral palette. Is there anything in your room that’s bold and colorful?
I’m a minimalist. But I like to bring in color with flowers, like the tulips you see on the nightstand. I love flexed tulips—they were actually in my wedding bouquet!
Okay, and those poufs: Just for decor, or do you actually use them?
My husband uses them to put on his socks and shoes, but for me, they’re more for vibes.
