King Charles III’s coronation is just one day away (how did that come around so quickly!?) and the royal family is busy preparing for the big day. As part of their preparations, the royals have been rehearsing for the historic event, with many of them expected to play important roles in the coronation. That includes Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who have this week been attending rehearsals–in between Charlotte’s birthday celebrations, that is.

During a surprise visit to central London yesterday, Prince William spoke to royal fans about how the Wales children have been getting on in their coronation rehearsals, revealing that they’ve so far been enjoying the experience. “Yes they did,” he responded when asked if the kids had fun during their most recent coronation rehearsal. “We’ve got a few more practices going on keeping us busy!” he added.

The Prince of Wales went on to share his own excitement for the big day, telling well-wishers: “[I’m] very excited it will be a busy weekend!” Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales admitted that she’s “slightly nervous” about the big day, and shared a warning to royal fans who are planning to celebrate over the weekend.
