Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper Had a Reunion Inside the 2023 Met Gala

There’s no bad blood at the 2023 Met Gala. Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson weren’t the only exes who got a chance to reunite at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night. Photographers also captured a moment between Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper, who dated for four years before ultimately breaking up in 2019. The two share a 6-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine.

The two are known to have a fairly friendly co-parenting relationship and have frequently been seen publicly hanging out, celebrating holidays, and going on vacation together since their breakup.

Irina previously talked to ELLE about her post-breakup dynamic with Bradley. “I never understood the term ‘co-parenting,’” she said. “When I’m with my daughter, I’m 100 percent a mother, and when she’s with her dad, he’s 100 percent her dad. Co-parenting is parenting.”

Of her and Bradley’s romantic history, she added, “My past relationship, it’s something that belongs to me, and it’s private. It’s just a piece of my inner self that I don’t want to give away.”

Irina recently spoke about motherhood in an interview for Harper’s Bazaars May 2023 cover story. “My daughter is a big part of why I started to love myself even more. She’ll say, ‘I love Daddy so much, I love Mama so much, I love Nana, I love Babulya’—who is my mom. Then she goes, ‘And I really love myself.’ And I’m looking at my daughter and I’m like, ‘Wow, I wasn’t like that at 6 years old,’” she said. “But this is what we need to teach our kids. We’re teaching our daughter that the most important thing is to be kind to people.”
