King Charles and Prince Harry Allegedly Have a Date Set for “Peace Talks”…and It’s Soon

Looks like the seemingly never-ending drama between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the royal family could—maybe, potentially, tbd—be coming to a close. According to British tabloid reports picked up by the Daily Mail (so, take with a grain of salt), King Charles and Prince Harry are meeting for peace talks next month.

The timing worked out thanks to Prince Harry’s upcoming trip to Germany for the Invictus Games. He’ll allegedly be flying back to California via London, while King Charles will be in town thanks to returning from his prolonged holiday in Balmoral.

Palace staff are said to be busy preparing for a possible sit-down, but we’ll see if these plans actually pan out! Mostly because (a) there doesn’t appear to be any confirmation from the palace, and (b) this isn’t the first time there’ve been reports about Harry reconciling with his family.

Ahead of King Charles’ coronation, The Times reported that peace talks were planed, and a source said “Both sides need to hold their hands up and admit ‘we didn’t get everything right, and we got a lot wrong’… It’s going to take flexibility on all sides, but it can be done. It needs Harry over here, in the room with the King and Prince of Wales, a couple of other family members, some of ‘his people’ he trusts who always had his back, so he doesn’t think he’s being ambushed.”

ANYWAY, speaking of ~fancy royal talks~ apparently King Charles is holding a summit with Prince William and Kate Middleton about their involvement in the family, with the Mirror reporting that Charles will “deliver objectives” for the next year, and a source saying he sees Wills and Kate’s role as “being at the heart of cementing their own future and that of the monarchy at large.”
