Starbucks Refuses to Let Summer End With 3 New Seasonal Drinks

Summer isn’t over until Starbucks says it is. On Aug. 14 the coffee company announced its Summer Remix Menu, revamping three of its fan-favorite cold drinks in a brand new way. The drinks in question include an iced chai tea latte with matcha cream cold foam; blended iced black tea lemonade; and a chocolate cream cold brew with caramel syrup in a caramel lined cup (the chocolate cream cold brew originally debuted as part of Starbucks’s 2022 summer menu).

“Just like musicians remixing their most popular songs, Starbucks will release a Summer Remix Menu featuring three cool twists on your favorite cold drinks,” the company wrote in a press release. Each remix takes the same recipes people know and love, and plays with different ingredients, toppings, and consistencies. The new summer drinks specifically add a “decadent” caramel syrup and caramel lined cup to the chocolate cream cold brew, top the iced chai with matcha cream cold foam, and blend the black tea lemonade with ice to create a fluffy texture.

Although the Summer Remix items will only be on the menu for a limited time, these are just some examples of the unique customizations Starbucks lovers can make year-round. The three drinks will be available on the Starbucks app home page, or can be ordered directly through a barista throughout the last few weeks of summer. As the anticipation for Starbucks’s iconic pumpkin spice latte begins to amp up, these fresh drinks are a reminder to slow down and enjoy the rest of the warmer months.
