Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid put forth their own personal takes on black-and-white outfits during a rare girls’ night out at Nobu downtown in New York City on Sunday night. See all the pics right this way, but TL;DR: This is the general vibe lol…
The close friends were spotted exiting a building hand-in-hand this past weekend, when they ventured out with each wearing the inverse of the other’s ensemble. The “Karma” singer looked incredible in an all-black, two-piece set from The Row, featuring a slinky draped halter top and a pair of matching tapered trousers. She paired the look with strappy peep-toe heels from O Jour and a puffy, pleated crossbody bag in white from Mansur Gavriel.
Meanwhile, the supermodel opted for a more casual look via a white cropped T-shirt and a black high-waisted midi skirt. She upped the ante with her accessories, wearing layers upon layers of gold chain necklaces and pearl chokers. Gigi capped off the outfit with a glossy black Prada purse, white socks, and black Oxford shoes.
The longtime friends previously spoke with each other for Gigi’s April 2020 cover story for Harper’s Bazaar.
“I’m seriously impressed that whenever you are in an immediate or stressful situation you fly into action,” Tay told her friend at the time. “Is that something that’s always been natural for you?”
Gigi responded, “I’ve realized over time that I feel the most free when I express myself, whether through action, writing, or talking it out. Being honest always leads to something good, even if it takes a hard or awkward moment or conversation to get there; you can never go wrong with telling someone how you feel and speaking your truth. And you always learn something from it.”
Love this friendship!
