Looks like Tom Schwartz is officially over his friendship with Tom Sandoval. The Vanderpump Rules star is currently and iconically on Stars on Mars, where he chatted about his friendship with Sandoval—and Sandoval’s infamous affair with Raquel Leviss (aka Scandoval).
“This thing with my friend back home….it’s incredibly messed up. And you know, it seems each time I try to weigh in or talk about, ramble on about it, drivel on, I inevitably sound like I’m somehow justifying it or making excuses for it, and I’m not,” Schwartz explained during an on-camera confessional. “There’s just no excuse for it. Any sort of version of his side of the story has become obsolete because of the way he handled it. And ultimately, that’s his life. That is his life. I did not have an affair. I am not him. It’s just so strange that I’ve been absolutely mired in this. It’s taken on almost a life of its own.”
Schwartz ended his musings saying, “After this, I’m stepping away from it permanently.”
Kinda unclear if he means stepping away from Sandoval or stepping away from Scandoval, but either way, Schwartz sounds over it. And these comments come on the heels of him slamming Sandoval for exploiting their friendship. As he said on the When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany podcast, “He made a big mess and he left it for us to clean up. It’s hard for me not to be resentful of him….I’m taking a break from Tom right now.”
