An homage to Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the famed luxury hotel in the French Riviera, this woody-floral fragrance was created to evoke a seaside vacation. ELLE Italy’s Michela Motta calls it “a summer day in a bottle,” while ELLE Taiwan’s Yvonne Yang says it reminds her of “diving into the Mediterranean Sea.”

“The curved wand mimics the shape of the eyelid, which makes it the perfect tool to curl and coat lashes,” says ELLE USA’s Margaux Anbouba. The lengthening and volumizing gel also goes on “super-dark in a single coat,” says Anbouba, for a lash look that’s both dramatic and enduring—yet easy to remove at day’s end.

This versatile, buildable formula hydrates without leaving the skin too slick. ELLE Germany’s Barbara Huber says, “The texture is soft and creamy, then dries down to a natural, radiant finish. You need so little—less than a pea-size amount for the whole face—and there is no transfer or fading throughout the day.”

Chanel’s lip-plumping formula is the ultimate lipstick/lip balm hybrid, says ELLE Holland’s Shanice Zoeteweij—perfect for deeply nourishing dry lips. “In just one swipe,” she adds, “it covers your lips with stunning, shiny color.”

In 10 minutes, this sheet mask tightens and brightens the face and neck. Editors noted the speedy results, with ELLE Kazakhstan’s Dariya Nogayeva-Alishkevich sharing that her skin looked “healthy, radiant, and younger” after just one treatment.

Recently reformulated, Advanced Youth Watery Oil employs royal jelly and four types of honey to revitalize the skin and help speed its repair. How does it feel? Divine, says ELLE Canada and ELLE Quebec’s Théo Dupuis-Carbonneau, who calls it “completely luxurious—hello, gold glitter in the bottle!”

Made with energy from renewable sources, as well as recycled and recyclable packaging, this frizz-fighting, strand-softening conditioner helps tame unwieldy natural texture. ELLE Greece’s Rozina Kouri says, “This product became my best friend during my summer vacation, because it protected my hair from the frizz caused by humidity in the Greek islands.”

This lash-defining formula contains organically farmed ingredients, and its refillable tube is made from 50 percent recycled plastic—but editors were equally wowed by its results. ELLE Norway’s Marthe Jakobsen says, “I actually thought it was impossible to create a certified-organic mascara that could deliver on length and volume and be long-lasting. But Kjaer Weis did it.”

Weleda, a pioneer in eco-friendly beauty, has repackaged its best-selling body butter in a recycled and recyclable glass jar, plus an outer box made from 85 percent recycled cardboard. ELLE France’s Elisabeth Martorell praised the brand for giving its “iconic cream” new green packaging just in time for Weleda’s 100-year anniversary. “That’s a very Weleda philosophy,” she says.
