Ariana Grande still hasn’t spoken out about reports that she and Dalton Gomez are heading for divorce after three years of marriage, but multiple outlets claim their relationship is over so…yep, seems like it’s happening.
Depending on which sources you listen to (there are…so many), Ariana and Dalton’s relationship became strained because of a) his inability to spend time away from Los Angeles (where he works in real estate), b) them going long-distance when she left to film Wicked in London, and c) him being unable to handle her fame once lockdown ended.
Either way, though, Ariana is ready to move on with her life (now also seems like a good time to mention that Dalton is dating other people, and has been for months).
“Ariana’s determined to move forward,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding that Ari’s friends and family are “happy” she’s moving on and that “as sad as it is, the consensus on both sides is that this is ultimately for the best. Ariana and Dalton are two very different people.”
Another source says that “Ariana and Dalton have been having some issues for months now,” and indicated that they aren’t currently speaking: “They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming [in London] that they couldn’t resolve, and the distance did not help. They haven’t been speaking and are separated, and a divorce is likely.”
Again, no word from Ariana or Dalton yet, so stay tuned!
