Kanye West Told Kim Kardashian She Looked Like Marge Simpson and That Her “Career’s Over”

So, the Kardashians’ Hulu show was most definitely filming during the height of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce drama, and while Kim’s made it clear she won’t be going into too many details, she did reveal that Kanye wasn’t exactly supportive when she started styling herself.

Speaking to Kourtney Kardashian during this week’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim said “I got to the point where I would ask him for advice for everything, down to what I wear. Even now, I’m having panic attacks, like, ‘Do…what do I wear?’ Finally, like, in New York, I will say he styled me all for SNL. Then, the Wall Street Journal Magazine, I won the Innovator Award for Skims. And I was like, ‘How do I wear something that hasn’t been pre-vetted first?’ It was like psychologically….”

Kim ended up styling herself for the evening, and apparently Kanye had some less than enthusiastic musings to impart on her look.

“He called me afterwards,” Kim told Kourtney. “He told me my career’s over and then he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar.”

I mean! Kim looked great that night, but also low key lol.

Kim later told cameras that she feels like there’s a double standard with her and Kanye when it comes to how their relationship gets discussed in public. “I’m always super protective of Kanye and not sharing a lot of the negative things that have happened, just because, you know, he’s not here doing the show,” she said. “Also, if I do something on a reality show then it’s like, ‘How dare she talk about it.’And then he can do a song but so creative and expressive. It’s always, like, two different sides are being expressed two different ways.
