Back in the spring, we all ran, not walked, to the nearest streaming device because season 5 of Selling Sunset was finally out! Everyone’s favorite real estate agents and brokers returned to the Oppenheim Group office ready to show us luxury homes in Los Angeles, the likes of which we can only dream about. They also served up plenty of drama, ofc.
Once again, Jason and Brett seemed to be expanding the business, as we saw more new faces. More personalities meant more differing opinions and chances of clashes, fanning the flames of preexisting conflicts. Then there’s the whole Chrishell and Jason of it all as the show chronicled their still-blossoming-at-the-time relationship.
Fans likely binged the all of season 5 as soon as the new eps hit the streamer back in April, and by the time the last episode was finished, questions about the next season probably were swarming. So, needless to say, it’s never too early to ask about season 6! Here’s what we know about Selling Sunset’s unreleased next season.

Is Selling Sunset getting a sixth season?
Before season 5 even got a premiere date, Netflix already confirmed the show would be renewed for season 6 and season 7! Talk about being in demand. It’s no surprise because of how big a pop culture phenomenon the series has become.
Who from the cast is coming back?
Expect to see Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae El Moussa, Amanza Smith, and Brett and Jason Oppenheim. Plus, Davina Potraz has come back since season 4. And the season’s new additions—Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela—are also likely to return unless the show dramatically shakes things up.
But you may have noticed one significant cast member missing from that above list. Yep, Christine Quinn is said be to leaving the show next season. TMZ was the first to report the news, with sources telling the outlet her departure was a joint decision between her, Netflix and the company that produces the show. The alleged reason she’s leaving, you ask? Well, sounds like more opportunities are on the horizon for her, specifically in the modeling realm. The sources told TMZ that Christine has signed with IMG Models, which is a really BFD!, and “is already booking modeling and appearance gigs at various fashion events,” wrote TMZ. So sad to see her go! There will certainly be less drama now.
Another cast member also said they won’t be back…at least not at the same capacity, that is. As viewers know, Maya Vander is now a mother of two who has to split her time between L.A. and Miami. She told E! News, “I’m probably not going to be a full-time cast member because it’s going to be difficult for me logistically to do the back-and-forth again.”
It’s sad to see folks from the original gang go, but at the rate we’re going, there are sure to be more additions down the line.
Are there any new cast members?
There are two new faces joining the main cast and the high ranks at the Oppenheim Group. Nicole Young and Bre Tiesi are ready to make some major deals as they find their footing in the major real estate company.
Meanwhile, two SOs are also going to be making their first appearances: G Flip, who is currently dating Crishell, and Jason’s girlfriend Marie-Lou Nurk. While they won’t be joining the main cast, it’ll still be fun to see their dynamic with our favorite brokers.
When does Selling Sunset season 6 come out?
Netflix released a special date announcement to finally sell us the news that we’ve been waiting for. It looks like the series will officially be back on May 19. You can check it out below:
