Harry Styles Doubles Over in Pain After He Was Hit in the Eye While Performing

Harry Styles is known for his interactive performances. The “As It Was” singer previously helped a concertgoer come out as gay, gave another fan his microphone so he could propose to his girlfriend, and even stopped his show to accommodate a pregnant fan who had to use the bathroom. Over the weekend, one of his performances took a frightening turn. On Saturday, July 8, fans uploaded video footage of Harry walking on stage and being struck directly in the eye by someone attending his latest “Love on Tour” stop.

Harry bent over in pain and brought his hand to his head before he continued walking. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Harry was struck by an object while performing. Back in 2022, fans uploaded video footage of Harry being hit by Skittles during a tour stop in Los Angeles.

The Grammy winner’s latest on-stage assault marks a rising trend of artists being struck by objects while performing on stage. Country singer Kelsea Ballerini had to step off stage after she was hit in the face with a bracelet in June. Bebe Rexha suffered a serious eye injury that left her “black and blue” after she was hit in the face with a phone.

Fans of the musicians who have been injured have taken to social media calling for change. “let me get this straight. bebe rexha and harry styles have both been hit in the eye while performing someone threw their mothers ashes onstage at a p!nk concert ava max was assaulted at her concert can we please leave performers alone this is f**king ridiculous,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Another added, “It’s a shame now that it’s becoming a trend now for concertgoers to throw items at performers on stage now Harry Styles is the latest victim, hit in the eye. Very dangerous and very disturbing to hear.”

Harry has not publicly addressed the incident.
